Provitol®, olive extract (Olea europaea, fruit)

The health benefits of olive oil are largely attributable to its polyphenols (Ghanbari et al, 2012). Many of their health benefits are thought to be related to the modulation of metabolic pathways associated with aging (Menendez et al, 2013; de Pablos et al, 2019; Calabro et al, 2025). The formulation of the exclusive Provitol® Complex is equivalent to 100% of the dose of hydroxytyrosol required for the health claim permitted by the EFSA in Europe (relating to the oxidation of bad cholesterol).

Resveratrol, extracted from Japanese knotweed (Reynoutria japonica)

Resveratrol alone has been the subject of more than 5,000 scientific publications, including more than 250 clinical studies. In addition to its effects on certain mechanisms of aging, it has been shown to have numerous benefits for related diseases (Zhou et al, 2021). Japanese knotweed, in addition to providing trans-resveratrol, which is also found in red wine, contains seven other compounds with beneficial health properties (Zhang et al, 2013). It has been used for over a thousand years in the prevention and treatment of a wide range of human health and aging conditions.

Curcumin

Curcumin is a polyphenol found in turmeric. It is insoluble in water and stable at the acidic pH of the stomach. It must be formulated to make it absorbable. The form used in this product has been improved to be 65 times more bioavailable. In addition to its anti-inflammatory effects, it may have a multitude of impacts on cellular aging processes (Izadi et al, 2024; Zia et al, 2021).

Passion flower extract

Passion flower extracts are traditionally used to relieve mild symptoms of stress and nervous tension and to promote sleep in adults. They are also believed to have anti-inflammatory and metabolic effects, in addition to other various benefits (Nikolova et al, 2024).

R-Alpha lipoic acid

A powerful antioxidant produced naturally by the cells of the human body, it is found inside mitochondria and in various tissues. Its natural production decreases with age and can be compensated for by taking supplements. R-alpha-lipoic acid is considered the “antioxidant of antioxidants” within the human body because it helps regenerate natural antioxidants (Superti and Russo, 2024; Shanaida et al, 2025).
