We are very pleased to introduce to you a new collaborator who will participate in the Vitoli Blog, Mrs. Jo-Anne Gilbert.<\/strong><\/p>\n

She is not only a doctor of kinesiology, but also a specialist in weight management.<\/p>\n

Here is a short presentation of her career and her work philosophy.<\/p>\n

Health is a subject that fascinates her! This is why her scientific and professional career touches so much on physical activity, nutrition and public health.<\/p>\n

Jo-Anne has a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and her graduate studies have focused on the multiple factors that affect weight control. She worked for more than 4 years in the Office of Nutrition Policy and Promotion at Health Canada. She has always wanted to keep a university teaching task, because it is her passion! She teaches today in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Montreal.
\nKnowing the complexity of the factors affecting your weight and your health, Jo-Anne will help you by simplifying this information. She also wants to help you to see more critically the information which circulates concerning the management of the weight.<\/p>\n
